On January 15, 2025, during the international competition “Stars of Uzbekistan-2025”, a meeting was held at the Ministry of Sports of the Republic of Uzbekistan between IDF President Vladimir Langin and the Minister of Sports of the Republic of Uzbekistan Ikramov Adkham Ilkhamovich. The meeting was also attended by IDF Vice-President, President of the Uzbekistan Draughts Federation Aminjonov Yunus.
The issues of developing draughts in Uzbekistan, holding international competitions and long-term cooperation were discussed.
