International tournament in draughts-64 “Jogeva-2014”

International tournament in draughts-64 “Jogeva-2014” was held from July 29 to August 03, 2014 in Jõgeva Gymnasium (Jogeva, Rokhu str. 10, Estonia). Tournament ended. Rules

1. Goals and objectives

Tournament is held for promotion and development of draughts-64, excellence and fulfillment of international titles, strengthening the friendly relations between draughts players of the countries – member of FMJD Section-64.

2. Time, place and leadership of the tournament

Tournament is held from July 29 to August 03, 2014 in Jogeva (Estonia). Venue:
Jõgeva Gymnasium (Jogeva, Rokhu str. 10).
Opening ceremony is on July 29 at 12 am, closing ceremony is on August 3 at 15.00.
Tournament is organized and conducted Jogeva Draughts Club in cooperation with the Estonian Draughts Union.

3. Tournament program

It is held overall tournament in draughts-64 for men and women with the draw of the initial moves and positions.
Places are determined additionally for women and players with rating below 2350 (ESF) or 2100 (FMJD) as of July 20, 2014.
System of the competitions is Swiss (9 rounds).
Competitions are held on the system of micro-matches from two parties. The time control is 45 minutes + 30 seconds per move to the end of the game for each participant in both parties of micro-match.

4. Participants

All declared players are allowed participate.

Entry fee for the claimed until July 13 players is 10 EUR, after the deadline – 15 EUR. Grandmasters play without entry fee. Entry fee can be transferred to the bank account of Jõgeva Draughts Club:

5. Terms of the tournament

6.Prizes

The prize fund is 1100 euros, as well as diplomas and non-cash prizes.

Prizes for men:
1st place – 400 EUR
2nd place – 200 EUR
3rd place – 100 EUR
4th place –   70 EUR
5th place –   60 EUR

Prizes for women:
1st place – 100 EUR
2nd place –  70 EUR

Prizes for players with rating below 2350 (ESF) or 2100 (FMJD):
1st place  – 50 EUR
2nd place – 30 EUR
3rd place – 20 EUR

Winners awarded diplomas and non-cash prizes also.
