21-10-2023 The World Veterans Draughts-64 Championship started today in Turkey, at the Beach Club Doğanay 5*, Alanya.
Blitz is held today. At 10.00 the opening ceremony took place and the Blitz program started. 20 athletes from 9 countries take part in the competition.

11-07-2023 The International Draughts Federation (IDF) in accordance with the Calendar of the IDF competitions in 2023 holds in Türkiye World Veterans Draughts-64 Championship.
Venue: The Beach Club Doğanay Hotel 5*, Alanya (Türkiye).
Dates: from from October 20 (arrival day) to October 29 (departure day), 2023.
The credentials committee will work on October 20 from 16.00 to 22.00
Competitions will be held in the age categories:
Men 60 years and older (1963 year born and older);
Men 50-59 years old (1973-1963 year born);
Women 50 years and older (1973 year born and older)
Participants must be fulfilled the required number of years on the date of the start of the competition.
Competitions are held in international (Russian) version of draughts-64 by the system of micro-matches consist of two games in the two disciplines: Classic game and Blitz.
All disciplines will be played with draw according to the IDF official table (745 positions). System of competition is Swiss or Round robin depending on the number of participants, open-tournament (men and women).
All participants, timely filed an application for participation, registered in a timely manner and pay the entry fee are allowed to participate in competitions. The number of participants representing the country is unlimited.
