The main tournament of the 2026, World Draughts-64 Championship among men and women will be held from September 3 to 13, 2026, in Kolomna, Russia. The competition is being held by the International Draughts Federation (IDF) together with the Russian Draughts Federation.
World Draughts-64 Championships will be held in the following disciplines: Blitz, Rapid and Classic game. The Blitz and Classic game disciplines will be played using the international version of draughts-64. Rapid discipline will be played using the Brazilian version of draughts-64.
The competition will traditionally be held at a high level. The total prize fund for the World Draughts-64 Championship will be 5,000,000 rubles (more than 60,000 US dollars).

The competition is being held by the International Draughts Federation (IDF) together with the Russian Draughts Federation.
World Draughts-64 Championships will be held in the following disciplines: Blitz, Rapid and Classic game. The Blitz and Classic game disciplines will be played using the international version of draughts-64. Rapid discipline will be played using the Brazilian version of draughts-64.

Players from national federations that are members of the International Draughts Federation (IDF) are eligible to participate in the 2026 World Draughts-64 Championships among men and women. The International Draughts Federation reserves the right to invite athletes from countries that are not IDF members or individual athletes.

2024 World Draughts-64 Championship medalists
2024-2025 World Cup medalists
Participants who took 1-6 places in the 2025 European Draughts-64 Championship (Classic game)
2026 Asian Championship medalists (Classic game)
Five participants from each country for discipline Classic game
Six participants from each country in each discipline Blitz and Rapid
The organizers will provide accommodation and meals from September 3 (lunch) to September 13 (breakfast) for one participant per country for men and for women (double occupancy).
Representatives from four continents – Asia, Africa, Europe and America – will participate in the competition. Representatives from over 27 countries have already confirmed their participation!
