The FMJD for the sake of personal ambitions of some Board members held electronic voting for separation of the Section-64 into two new — Russian and Brazilian. Due to the fact that the division of the Section-64 (Russian/Brazilian) into Russian and Brazilian section conducted contrary to the FMJD Statutes, this decision is illegal and we will challenge it in court.

Attention! Executive Board of International Draughts Federation IDF-FMJD Section-64 discussed the initiative of the Russian and Uzbekistan Draughts Federations and decided for the first time, experimentally, to hold in Bulgaria together with World Youth Championship 2014 in the age groups U23, U19, U16, U13 and U10 — World Youth Championship among boys and girls born in 2006 and younger (U8).

President of the International Mind Sport Association (IMSA) Kirsan Ilyumzhinov sent greetings to participants of the match for the title of world champion.  See greetings HERE

Major League of Belarussian Men and Women Championships ended. Championships was held in Minsk from April 3th to April 11th. Competitions was held by the system of micro-matches from two games, time control: 45 minutes for each participant before the end of the game plus 15 seconds per move. The 34th Portuguese Individual National Championship (Preliminary) in draughts-64 was held from 04th to 06th April at Hotel INATEL Santa Maria da Feira. Time control 90 minutes. José Carlos Anjos won. Belarussian Youth Championship among boys and girls in age groups 10, 13, 16, 19 years was held in Borisov from March 24th to March 30th in two programs: Blitz and Classic. 126 players took part in competitions. You can see results of Blitz HERE, Classic program HERE and Photo HERE

Russian Youth Championship among boys and girls in age groups 8, 10, 13 years ended.
