Rating list  on January 1, 2015 for men and for women published in section Ratings. According to the new FMJD Annexes 9 and 10 female ratings are reduced by 100 points.

Final of Championship of Ukraine in draughts-64 among men and women (classic game) was held in Dnepropetrovsk from 11th to 18th December 2014. Championships was held separately for men and women by round robin. 12 men and 10 women participated. GMI Sergey Boyko won in men and GMIF Elena Korotkaya won in women.

World Cup 2014 in draughts-64 ended. Total 164 players from 22 countries: Angola, Azerbaijan, Belarus, China, Czech Republic, Estonia, Equatorial Guinea, Israel, Kazakhstan, Congo, Latvia, Lithuania,  Malta, Moldova, Morocco, Poland, Portugal, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Ukraine, USA and Russia  took part  in all stages of World Cup.

Draughts enthusiast Krzysztof Grzelak (Kornik, Poland) spent from 2nd to 12th December 2014 3rd unofficial world championship among computer programs. Tournament was held in Russian draughts with the drawing of moves and positions (flying draughts). 10 programs participated. The program Kallisto won. Club championship of Lithuania on the classic Russian draughts was held from 21 to 23 November 2014 in Bačkonys (Lithuania). Championship collects all the strongest players and is considered the largest draughts event in Lithuania.

Draughts tournaments 5th Open German Draughts 64 Championship (Brazilian Version) and 9th International Saarbrücken Open Tournament in Draughts 100 was held in Saarbrücken (Germany) from the 7th to the 9th November 2014. GMI Gennady Shapiro (GER) won 5th Open German Draughts 64 Championship. Viktor Larin (USA) took 2nd place and Igor Elvov (GER) took 3rd place.  (далее…)
