1st Dutch Championship in Brazilian Draughts

1st Dutch Championship in Brazilian Draughts was held in Tilburg on May 17, 2014. Championship recognised by the KNDB. Time schedule was 10 minutes plus 5 seconds bonus for each move, 10 rounds. 28 players participated. Anton van Berkel won. Jasper Daems took 2nd place and Genadij Shapiro took 3rd place. See more information HERE

International Draughts Federation IDF — FMJD Section-64 in accordance with the calendar of the competitions in 2014 holds Personal-team European Youth Championship in draughts-64 from April 29th, (arrival day) till May 07th, 2014 in Pinsk, Brest region, Belarus. Executive Board of International Draughts Federation IDF-FMJD Section-64 discussed the initiative of the Russian and Uzbekistan Draughts Federations and decided for the first time, experimentally, to hold in Bulgaria together with World Youth Championship 2014 in the age groups U23, U19, U16, U13 and U10 — World Youth Championship among boys and girls born in 2006 and younger (U8). Belarussian Men and Women Championship

Major League of Belarussian Men and Women Championships ended. Championships was held in Minsk from April 3th to April 11th. Competitions was held by the system of micro-matches from two games, time control: 45 minutes for each participant before the end of the game plus 15 seconds per move.
