Major League of Belarussian Men and Women Championships ended. Championships was held in Minsk from April 3th to April 11th. Competitions was held by the system of micro-matches from two games, time control: 45 minutes for each participant before the end of the game plus 15 seconds per move. The 34th Portuguese Individual National Championship (Preliminary) in draughts-64 was held from 04th to 06th April at Hotel INATEL Santa Maria da Feira. Time control 90 minutes. José Carlos Anjos won. First 8 players with Manuel Vaz Vieira and Tiago Manuel will participate in the final. See Rules, Program, Results.

Women Championship of Moldova was held from 18 to 23 March in Chisinau. International Grandmaster, former world champion Elena Skovitina became champion. Cristina Zaruba took 2nd place and young Șleahovskaya Ana took 3rd place. See results HERE and PHOTO
Ukrainian Youth Championship among boys and girls was held in age groups 10, 13, 16, 19, 23 years in three programs: Blitz, Rapid and Classic. Total 101 players took part in competitions. Championship in age groups 13, 19 years was held from March 2nd to March 09th in Melitopol. Lithuanian Men Championship in draughts-64 (with the draw moves and positions) was held in Vilnius from March 6th to March 11, 2014. Andrius Kybartas won additional match for the first place Arunas Norvaishas and became the champion. Sigitas Smaidrys took 3rd place. See results HERE.
