The Ronald Suki King International Checkers and Draughts Festival  was held in Barbados at the Sir Garfield Sobers Gymnasium, October 5th to 14th, 2013. You can see results and photos HERE.

Championship of Russia in Russian draughts  among men and women was held from 25 September to 9 October 2013 in the resort «Akvaloo» in Sochi. Championship of Russia among men was held in two stages. Championship of Russia among men ended today. Nikolay Struchkov (Yakutia) became a champion, Vladimir Egorov (Tula) took 2nd place and Oleg Dashkov (Samara) took 3rd place. See all results.

7th Stage of World Cup — International draughts-64 competition memory S. Kashaev was held from 19 September (arrival day) to 25 September in Evpatoria, Ukraine. 36 players from 7 countries participated. International Grandmasters Sergey Belosheyev from Ukraine took 1st place, Dmitry Tsinman from Russia took 2nd place and Ion Dosca from Moldova took 3rd place. See results.

The FMJD Section-64 — IDF in accordance with the calendar of the Section-64-IDF competitions in 2013 holds in Evpatoria, Ukraine, from September 09, (arrival day) till September 18, 2013, World Seniors Championship in draughts-64 (men 1963-54 years born, men 1953 years born and older; women 1968 years born and older). 49 players from 10 countries participated.  Championship ended. See results. World Championship in Bulgaria ended. Sports complex Aqualife provided perfect conditions for the competition, accommodation and meals for the participants and their recreation. Participants played in the big sports hall with air conditioning. Meals were three time buffet. Sports complex has on its territory a lot of sports facilities where our players spent their free time. World Youth Championship in draughts-64 was held at the Sports Complex «Aqualife», Kranevo, Bulgaria, from August 27, (arrival day) till September 05, (departure day) 2013. Closing Ceremony took place August, 4 at 19.00. Russian consul in Varna and the mayor of Kranevo participated in the Closing Ceremony and award of winners.
