World Championship among teams in draughts-64 took place in the Sports Complex «Aqualife», Kranevo, Bulgaria, from August 27, (arrival day) till September 05, 2013. The three programs were held: blitz, rapid and classic program. Team Russia (Tula) won all programs among men’s teams and team Russia (St. Petersburg) won all programs among women’s teams.  World Championships 2013 in draughts-64 among men and women (Russian version) was held in St. Petersburg, Russia, from August 4 (arrival day) to  August 14 (departure day), 2013. Nikolay Struchkov became World Champion among men! Zhanna Sarshaeva became World Champion among women! See results, photo and other information.

6th Stage of World Cup in draughts-64 «Cup of information technology» ended. Tournament was held from 25 to 31 July 2013 in Kazan, Russia.  Dmitry Tsinman won. Sergey Belosheyev took 2nd place and Vladimir Skrabov took 3rd place. See all results on the site www.tatshashki.ru

The site www.wc64.org was created specifically for the World Championship in 2011. It will also cover the World Championship in 2013.  

International draughts competition «Pardubice-2013» – 5th Stage of World Cup in draughts-64 ended. Competition was held in Pardubice, Czech Republic,  from July 10, (arrival day) till July 19, 2013 as the part of the traditional festival of intellectual games Chess-open. See results. 

International draughts-64 competitions «White Nights – 2013» — 4th Stage of World Cup 2013 ended. 70 players took part in competitions. Open-tournament and youth tournament was held. Grandmaster from Nizhny Novgorod Alexander Burov won the 4th Stage of World Cup. The master of sports Reef Sultanov from Nizhny Tagil took second place. Champion of Moscow, youth master of sports Nikita Slavyanov took third place. See results of …

Belarussian Championships in draughts-64 among men and women (Major League) was held from June 25 to July 03, 2013 in Minsk. International master Igor Mikhalchenko won. GMI Andrey Valyuk took 2nd place and the legend of draughts-64 Arkady Plakhin took  3rd place. Vera Hvaschinskaya became a champion for women, Daria Fedarovich ranked second and Anastasia Stasyuchenok ranked third. International draughts-64 competition «Tikhvin – 2013» — 3rd Stage of World Cup 2013 was held from June 21 (day of arrival) to June 29, 2013 in Tikhvin, Russia.  Vladimir Skrabov won. Sergey Boyko from Ukraine took the 2nd place and Andrey Gaidukov from Tikhvin took 3rd place. See results.
