Statement of the Presidium of the Draughts Federation of Russia
Draughts Federation of Russia is developing in Russia sport “Draughts”.
Federation is accredited by the Ministry of Sports of Russia.
According to the decision of the Presidium, Draughts Federation of Russia is working for draughts-64 with IDF and for draughts-100 with FMJD.
Accordingly, Draughts Federation of Russia does not send their players for the competition in draughts-64 under the auspices of other organizations, including the FMJD.
Tournament in Brazil from 22 to 29 September 2016 under the auspices of the FMJD, called “World Draughts-64 Championship”, is not included in the official schedule of Ministry of Sports of Russia events in 2016.
Draughts Federation of Russia did not submit an application to participate in this tournament players from Russia Alexander Kandaurov, Alexander Shvartsman, Alexander Georgiev and Darya Tkachenko.
Unauthorised participation of Russian players in these events caused great harm Draughts Federation of Russia in the international arena.
Presidium of the Draughts Federation of Russia warn this players, that they are not allowed o take part in this competition without the application of the national federation and under the Russian flag.
According to the statute Draughts Federation of Russia, decisions of the governing bodies of the FSHR are mandatory for players.
If the above players contrary to the decision of the Presidium of the FSHR yet will participate in these competitions as individuals, they need to understand the entire his act responsibility.
In this case, Draughts Federation of Russia reserves the right to take action of disciplinary exposure to these players as violated solutions the governing bodies of the Federation and committed action, damaging their National Federation.
