Asian Draughts-64 Championship

Asian Championships in draughts-64, draughts-100, and Turkish draughts was held in Tashkent (Uzbekistan) from 15 to 28 April 2017. Asian Championship in draughts-64 are held from 15 to 21 April. Competitions was held by Asian Draughts Confederation and the Uzbekistan Draughts Federation under the auspices of the International Draughts Federation IDF. Competitions was held by international (Russian) version of draughts-64 on three programs: classic, rapid and blitz in age categories: men, women; juniors and juniors, boys and girls up to 20, 17, 14, 11, 9 years. Main Arbiter of the competitions – Ibragim Ismailov (Turkey).

21-04-2017 Rapid program of Asian Championship was held today. In the men’s championship International Grandmaster Samandar Kalanov (Uzbekistan) become the winner. Saidkosim Aliev (Uzbekistan)  took second place and Farhad Arslanov (Turkmenistan) took third place.

In women International Master Jumagaldiyeva Altynay (Kazakhstan) confidently won rapid. Yuldasheva Sayyora (Uzbekistan) took second place and Liu Pei (China) took third place.

20-04-2017 The classic program of the Asian championship in draughts-64 is completed. In the men’s championship, Liu, Jinxin (China) become the winner. In the last round, he won Uzbek Grandmaster Abdukadyr Tashtemirov and in the determination of the places with Samandar Kalanov bypassed him by a coefficient. Thus, the second place was taken by Samandar Kalanov (Uzbekistan). Valery Ten (Kazakhstan) took third place.

In women with a score of 12 points, Liu Pei (China) become the Asian champion, as expected. In second place is Jumagaldiyeva Altynay (Kazakhstan), at the third place is Davletova Anel (Kazakhstan).

   


19-04-2017 Six rounds ended in the classical program of the Asian championship in draughts-64. Tomorrow in the last 7th round, winners and prize-winners will be announced. Before the last round, Samandar Kalanov (Uzbekistan), Liu, Jinxin (China) and Valeriy Ten (Kazakhstan) are leading in men with a score of 9 points. Sadikov Azizbek and Artikov Alisher (both Uzbekistan) have 8 points each. They will fight for the championship medals tomorrow.

In women with a score of 11 points, Liu Pei (China) is still leading. Jumagaldiyeva Altynay (Kazakhstan) and Tursunmurotova Shakhzoda (Uzbekistan) have 9 points each.


18-04-2017 After four rounds of the classical program, Samandar Kalanov and Azizbek Sadikov (both Uzbekistan) are leading in men with a score of 7 points. 6 points have Liu, Jinxin (China) and Valeriy Ten (Kazakhstan). In women with a score of 7 points, Liu Pei (China) is leading. 6 points have Tursunmurotova Shakhzoda, Yuldasheva Sayyora (both Uzbekistan) and Davletova Anel (Kazakhstan).


17-04-2017  Two rounds of classic program in all tournaments was held today. Closing of Blitz was held at 19.00.

16-04-2017 Asian championships in draughts-64 start today in the capital of Uzbekistan, Tashkent. Competitions are held in the hotel Le Grande Plaza Hotel, Tashkent ****

Participants were welcomed:

President of the International Draughts Federation Vladimir Langin
President of the Asian Draughts Confederation Bat Erdene
Vice President of the International Draughts Federation and Asian Draughts Confederation Yunus Amindjonov.

At the opening ceremony president IDF Vladimir Langin awarded diplomas for the development of draughts in Asia and in the world president of the Asian Draughts Confederation Bat Erdene and vice-president of the International Draughts Federation and Asian Draughts Confederation Yunus Amindzhonov. He awarded also diplomas for the development of draughts in Asia and Kazakhstan president of Draughts Federation of Kazakhstan Alla  Chuprik.

Blitz started at 15.00. Representatives of 5 countries: Kazakhstan, China, Mongolia, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan won medals in the first competition program. Samandar Kalanov (Uzbekistan) won Men Championship and Liu Pei (China) won Women Championship. See results and photo.
