Estonian men’s and women’s championships completed

From April 4 to 7, 2019 in the city of Tartu (Estonia), the 71st Estonian Championship among men and the 63rd Estonian Championship among women in Russian draughts were held. For the first time the International tournament in draughts-64 was held in Finland

International Draughts Federation (IDF) together with the Finnish Draughts Association «Tammipelin ystävät ry» in accordance with the calendar of the IDF competitions 2019 for the first time held in Helsinki, the capital of Finland, International competition in draughts-64 “Helsinki-2019”. Competitions were held at the Russian Center for Science and Culture in Helsinki. International master Anton Smirnov won the competitions.  See results.

Men Championship of Moldova

In Moldova’s capital, Chisinau from March 22 to 30, 2019 the Moldovan Men’s Championship was held. The championship was held in three programs: Classic, Blitz and Rapid. The champion of the country in classic and rapid programs became international master Denis Dudco. Ex-world champion, international grandmaster Ion Dosca won blitz.  See results.

1st Stage of World Cup 2019 – International competition “Georgia-2019”

International Draughts Federation (IDF) in accordance with the Calendar of competitions in 2019 held from 23 to 31 March 2019 in Tbilisi (Georgia) 1st Stage of World Cup 2019 in draughts-64 – International competition “Georgia-2019”. Jamaica’s Draughts-64 Championship was held in Kingston

The Jamaica Draughts Association concluded it’s National Draughts Championship 2019 which was held on March 6, 2019 at the JPS Sports Club in Kingston.
