In an effort to continue promoting draughts sport in Malawi and Africa at large The Association of Draughts in Malawi (ADMA) invites Zambia youth talented player William Chizewe to Marathon games that will take place from 12 January to 18 January 2022 in Blantyre and Lilongwe.

While in Malawi, young rising African star William Chizewe won intermational masters Enock Banda and Moses Winesi; and drew with IDF master Madalitso Thom.

18-01-2022 A series of matches between the invited young talented player from Zambia William Chizewe and the strongest players of Malawi ended in Malawi.

The young rising star of the African continent William Chizewe won a series of games against Malawian Champion, 2018 African Rapid Champion, intermational master Enock Banda with a score of 6:4 and against the 2016 African Championship medalist, intermational master Moses Winesi with a score of 5:2.  He also drew with 2018 African Championship medalist, IDF master Madalitso Thom with a score of 3:3.
