October 19, 2014 in St. Petersburg was held report and elective General Assembly of the International Draughts Federation (IDF) – Section-64 FMJD. Member-countries of IDF – Section-64 showed high interest in the work of organization: 23 national federations were presented at the General Assembly.
The central point of the agenda was the election of the president and members of the Board.
Unanimous decision of the delegates the president of the International Draughts Federation (IDF) – Section-64 FMJD Vladimir Langin was reelected for the next four years.
In the composition of the Board have been some rearrangements. Were elected:
Vice Presidents – Andrey Agapov, Alexander Jurgenson and Yunus Amindzhonov;
Treasurer – Kyril Haynyuk;
Tournament Director – Alexander Nikiforov;
Secretary general and head of the Technical Commission – Antonina Langina.
Delegates of General Assembly recognized the right course of the International Draughts Federation on the development of various kinds of draughts 64, and also noted the rapidly increasing level of organization of the competitions and, especially, the prize funds of official championships.
In accordance with the agenda of the General Assembly was approved the changes in the Statutes and made some decisions on the current activities of the organization.
