The International Draughts Federation (IDF) in accordance with the Calendar of the competitions in 2026 holds World Cup in draughts-64 – International competitions “Türkiye-2026” from November 1 to November 11, 2026 in Türkiye. The World Cup will be held in three disciplines: Blitz, Rapid and Classic game. A separate discipline of the World Cup will be held – the Give away draughts. Final.

The Credentials Committee will work on 1st November from 16.00 to 22.00

from 2nd November (arrival day) to 6th November (departure day), 2026

World Cup in draughts-64 – International competitions “Türkiye-2026” are held in three disciplines:
Blitz, Classic (international version of draughts-64; Rapid (Brazilian version of draughts-64).
In each discipline winners are determined among men, women and juniors (boys and girls) up to 20 years (born in 2007 and younger) if there are at least 5 people in the age group.
Participants of the World Cup get points in the overall standing of the World Cup in accordance with the Regulations of the 2026 World Cup in draughts-64.
A separate discipline of the World Cup will be held – Final (Give away draughts).
The competition will be held in the discipline of Give away draughts – Classic game.
The competitions will be held separately for men and women according to the system of micro-matches from two games.

Applications are accepted at the IDF office by e-mail: office@idf64.org:
– visa support applications and preliminary applications for participation and accommodation booking – no later than July 31, 2026.
– final applications for participation and accommodation booking – no later than August 21, 2026
– transfer to the competition venue and back — no later than October 1, 2026.
Late applications will not be considered.
