Israeli championship in Russian draughts among women was held 4th March at the city of Petah Tikva. Champion Israel became USSR master of sports and IDF master, multiple participant of the World and European championships Zinaida Alexandrova. Master of sports Valery Volynkina took second place. Ex-champion of the USSR, the master of sports Sorkin Elena is in third place.
