The final of the Lithuanian Draughts-64 Championship among men (International/Russian version) was held in the capital of Lithuania Vilnius from March 11 to 15. In the final of the Lithuanian Championship 9 players took part, among them 5 of the strongest international grandmasters and 1 international master.
International Grandmaster and former world champion Arunas Norvaishas became the champion of Lithuania 2020.
Competitions were held in a Robin Round system with a time control of 45’+30.″ According to the results of the championship international grandmasters Arunas Norvaishas, Aleksej Domčev, Andrius Kybartas and Sigitas Smaidrys shared the 1st-4th place with the same number of points and played medals in an additional match tournament with a shortened time control. In an additional match tournament, Arunas Norvaishas won Sigitas Smaidrys and the rest of the games ended in a draw.
As a result, Arunas Norvaishas became the champion of Lithuania 2020!
