Estonian championships among men and women completed

The national championships among men and women in the Russian and Brazilian versions of draughts-64 ended in Estonia.

From January 23 to 26, 2020 in Rakvere were held:

72nd Estonian Championship in Russian draughts among men        Table
64th Estonian Championship in Russian draughts among women    Table

Competitions were held according to a system of micro-matches from 2 games with a time control of 45’+ 30” (Fischer system) with a draw of moves and positions IDF.

Estonian Championships in the Brazilian version of draughts-64 among men and women were held on February 1.

Competitions were held according to a system of micro-matches from 2 games with a time control of 8’+ 4” (Fisher system) with a draw of moves and positions IDF for Brazilian draughts.

The winner of the men’s championship was unexpectedly the eleven-year-old Priit Lokotar, who has long been successful in youth competitions.
