The preliminary calendar of events of the International Draughts Federation (IDF) for 2026 has been published.
All annual scheduled events will take place in 2026. The European Youth Championships will be held in April in Kemer, Türkiye. Türkiye will traditionally host the World Youth, Student, and Veteran Championships as well as the World Team Championships for men, women and youth, in the fall.
The main tournament of the year, the 2026 World Draughts-64 Championships for men and women, will be held at a high level and with a large prize fund.
The World Cup stages will be held in April in Kemer (Türkiye) together with the European Youth Championships; in May in Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan; and in the fall, together with the World Youth, Student, and Veteran Championships. The World Cup Final in Give away Draughts will also be held there.
Other World Cup stages are currently being reviewed and approved.
The World Cup Final will be held in St. Petersburg, Russia, at a high level in December.
