The International Draughts Federation (IDF) together with the Uzbekistan Draughts Federation in accordance with the Calendar of the IDF competitions in 2025 holds from 14 to 23 January 2025 in Tashkent (Uzbekistan) first events of 2025: Training event and International competitions “Stars of Uzbekistan-2025”.
Competitions are held in the categories: men, women; juniors (boys and girls) up to 27 years old (born in 1999-2005), up to 20 years old (born in 2006-2008); boys and girls up to 17 years old (born in 2009 and younger) in two disciplines: Classic and Blitz games.

18-01-2025 International competitions “Stars of Uzbekistan-2025” started today. 70 players are taking part in the competition, among them 12 international grandmasters, multiple champions and prize winners of world and continental championships.
Today, the Blitz game discipline was held.
The winners in the Blitz game discipline were multiple world champion, international grandmaster Kolesov Gavril and IDF master Nikanorova Iuliia.

27-12-2024 The International Draughts Federation (IDF) together with the Uzbekistan Draughts Federation in accordance with the Calendar of the IDF competitions in 2025 holds in Tashkent (Uzbekistan) first events of 2025:

Venue: Orient Grand Hotel at the address: st. Imama at-Termezi, 44, Tashkent (Uzbekistan).
Dates: Training event from January 14 (arrival day) to January 17, 2025.
International competitions “Stars of Uzbekistan-2025” from January 17 (arrival day) to January 23 (departure day), 2025.
The Credentials Committee will work on January 17 from 18.00 to 20.00.
Competitions will be held in two disciplines: classic and Blitz games.
Competitions will be held in the following categories:
– men, women (players from 9 years);
– juniors (boys and girls) up to 27 years old (born in 1999-2005), up to 20 years old (born in 2006-2008);
– boys and girls up to 17 years old (born in 2009 and younger).
The system of holding each competition – Swiss or round robin is established by the panel of referees depending on the number of participants.
Competitions among men and women, juniors (boys and girls) are held with the drawing of lots for moves and positions according to the official IDF table (780 positions), mandatory in both games of the micro-match.
Competitions among boys and girls up to 17 years old are held with the drawing of lots for the first move of white.
All expenses for travel, meals and accommodation of participants, payment of tournament fees are paid by the sending organizations or the participants themselves.
The expenses for organizing and holding the events are paid by the Organizing Committee.
