The International Draughts Federation (IDF), in accordance with the Calendar of the competitions in 2026 holds World Youth Draughts-64 Championship in the age groups under 9, 11, 14, 17, 20 and 27 in Türkiye. In the age groups under 20 and 27, the World Student Championship established. The World Youth Championship will be held in the disciplines of Blitz, Rapid and Classic game.

12-05-2026 The International Draughts Federation (IDF) in accordance with the IDF Competition Calendar for 2026 holds a number of draughts-64 events in Türkiye:
1) Educational and training event
2) World Youth Draughts-64 Championship
Venue: Hotel 5*, Manavgat/Antalya (Türkiye)
Dates:
– Educational and training event – from 25th October (arrival day) to 1st November (departure day) 2026.
– World Youth Draughts-64 – from 1st November (arrival day) to 11th November (departure day) 2026.
The Credentials Committee will work on 1st November from 16.00 to 22.00.
The competitions will be held separately among boys and girls in 6 age groups:
Juniors – boys and girls up to 27 years old (born in 2000-2006);
Juniors – boys and girls up to 20 years old (born in 2007-2009);
Cadets – boys and girls up to 17 years old (born in 2010-2012);
Mini-cadets – boys and girls up to 14 years old (born in 2013-2015);
Hopes – boys and girls up to 11 years old (born in 2016-2017);
Mini-hopes – boys and girls up to 9 years old (born in 2018 and younger).
Younger players can take part in age groups up to 27, 20, 17, 14, 11 years old.
The classification of the World Championship among students established in the age groups of Juniors – boys and girls up to 27 and 20 years old.
Competitions will be held in three disciplines – Blitz, Rapid and Classic game.
The discipline Rapid will be played according to the Brazilian version of draughts-64.

– visa support applications and preliminary applications for participation and accommodation booking – no later than July 31, 2026
– final applications for participation and accommodation booking – no later than August 21, 2026
– transfer to the competition venue and back — no later than October 1, 2026.
Late applications will not be considered.
