The International Draughts Federation (IDF) in accordance with the Calendar of the IDF competitions in 2026 holds European Youth Draughts-64 Championship in Türkiye from 20 to 29 April 2026. The Championship is held in six age groups, separately for boys and girls, in three disciplines: Classic, Rapid and Blitz.

Competitions in all age groups are held in Brazilian version of draughts-64 according to the Swiss system by to the system of micro-matches from two games, time control 5’ + 3” for each participant until the end of the game.

21-04-2026 Today, the 2026 European Youth Draughts-64 Championship started in the Ma Biche Kemer by Werde Hotels 5* hotel in Kemer (Türkiye).
The European Youth Draughts-64 Championship is held in 6 age groups: under 9, 11, 14, 17, 20 and 27 years old, separately among boys and girls in the Blitz, Rapid and Classic game disciplines.
The opening ceremony took place at 09.30.
The competition participants were greeted by Vladimir Langin, President of the International Draughts Federation (IDF), Necati Topaloğlu, Mayor of Kemer, Aleksei Shonin, Vice President of the Russian Draughts Federation and representatives of the host country. IDF President Vladimir Langin presented diplomas and badges to the players who were awarded international titles.
Following the opening ceremony, the Blitz discipline started. More than 130 players from 9 European countries are participating in the competition.

The Credentials Committee will work on 20th April from 16.00 to 20.00
European Youth Draughts-64 Championship will be held separately among boys and girls in 6 age groups:
Juniors – boys and girls up to 27 years old (born in 2000-2006)
Juniors – boys and girls up to 20 years old (born in 2007-2009)
Cadets – boys and girls up to 17 years old (born in 2010-2012)
Mini-cadets – boys and girls up to 14 years old (born in 2013-2015)
Hopes – boys and girls up to 11 years old (born in 2016-2017)
Mini-hopes – boys and girls up to 9 years old (born in 2018 and younger)
Competitions will be held in three disciplines – Blitz, Rapid and Classic game

– preliminary applications no later than 25th March 2026
– final applications no later than 1st April 2026
Applications submitted late will not be considered.
Participants who submit final applications no later than 1st April 2026, but fail to attend the competition without good reason and without warning, will not be considered and will not participate in the World Youth Championships in November 2026.
