The International Draughts Federation (IDF) in accordance with the Calendar of the IDF competitions in 2024 helds in Türkiye from 1 to 11 November 2024 World Youth Draughts-64 Championship in age groups up to 9, 11, 14, 17, 20 and 27 years. In the age groups U27 and U20, the classification of the World Championship among students was established.
The World Youth Championship was held in the disciplines of Blitz, Rapid and Classic game. See the results.

02-11-2024 Today, the World Youth Draughts-64 Championship, the World Veterans Championship and the World Cup started in Turkey. More than 270 athletes from 17 countries are taking part in all competitions.
The opening took place at 10:00. The participants and guests of the competition were greeted by:

Participants who fulfilled the norms of international titles were awarded diplomas.
After the opening, the Blitz program started in the age groups up to 14, 17, 20 and 27 years old.
Competitions in the younger age groups up to 9 and 11 years old will be held from 15:00 together in the first program of the World Cup.

30-06-2024 The International Draughts Federation (IDF) in accordance with the Calendar of the IDF competitions in 2024 holds a number of draughts-64 events in Türkiye:
1) Educational and training event.
2) World Youth Draughts-64 Championship.
Venue: The Beach Club Doğanay Hotel 5* at address: Konaklı Mah. Mustafa Kemal Blv. No:289 Alanya/Antalya (Türkiye).
Dates:
1) Educational and training event – from October 28 (arrival day) to November 1(departure day), 2024.
2) World Youth Draughts-64 Championship – from November 1 (arrival day) to November 11 (departure day), 2024. The Credentials Committee will work on November 1 from 16.00 to 22.00.
Competitions will be held separately among boys and girls in 6 age groups:
Juniors – boys and girls up to 27 years old (born in 1998-2004);
Juniors – boys and girls up to 20 years old (born in 2005-2007);
Cadets – boys and girls up to 17 years old (born in 2008-2010);
Mini-cadets – boys and girls up to 14 years old (born in 2011-2013);
Hopes – boys and girls up to 11 years old (born in 2014-2015);
Mini-hopes – boys and girls up to 9 years old (born in 2016 and younger)
The classification of the World Championship among students is established in the age groups U27 and U20.
Competitions will be held in three disciplines – Blitz, Rapid and Classic game.
The discipline Rapid will be played according to the Brazilian version of draughts-64
