The Lusaka Draughts-64 League (Zambia) started on 15 June 2014. 12 clubs from all  the corners of Lusaka Province are participated.  Last year the league started with only 6 clubs but this year the number has increased by 100%. See more information, photo and video HERE

Championship of France 2014 in Draughts-64 will be held in Centre nautique, 2, rue du Commandant Mouchotte 71300 MONTCEAU LES MINES from July 15 to July 18, 2014. See more information about championship HERE

Malawi 2nd National Draughts-64 Tournament will be held from 25  to 27 July 2014 in Blantyre, commercial city of Malawi. Competition will be held with the support of the Sports Council. First prize fund will be established. See more information HERE

Championships of Uzbekistan among men, women, boys and girls 23 year and younger was held from 25 to 31 May in Tashkent. Championships was held in two program: classic and blitz. 87 players participated. See results.

Personally-team Ukrainian Cup for men and women was held from May 10th to May 18th in Belaya Tserkov (Kiev region). Competitions was held in three programs: classic, blitz and rapid. The winners were determined in the individual standings for men and women as well as in the team standings among the regions. See full results and photo HERE

Final of 34º National Individual Championship of Portugal in Portuguese draughts was held on 9-11 and 16-18 May in Hotel Inatel de Santa Maria da Feira. The top 10 players determined the national champion 2014. The system of competition was Round Robin. Fernando Gonçalves and Joaquim Silva have the same number of points.  They will determine title in the Grand Final. See RESULTS, STANDING, TABLE and PHOTO 

International competition memory Oleg Chernyak was held from May 8th to May 12th in Dnepropetrovsk, Ukraine. 32 players participated. GMI Vladimir Egorov from Russia won. MI Vladyslav Mazur took 2nd place and GMI Valery Grebenkin took 3rd place. SITE of tournament, TABLE and PHOTO.

1st Dutch Championship in Brazilian Draughts was held in Tilburg on May 17, 2014. Championship recognised by the KNDB. Time schedule was 10 minutes plus 5 seconds bonus for each move, 10 rounds. 28 players participated. Anton van Berkel won. Jasper Daems took 2nd place and Genadij Shapiro took 3rd place. See more information HERE

International Draughts Federation IDF – FMJD Section-64 in accordance with the calendar of the competitions in 2014 holds Personal-team European Youth Championship in draughts-64 from April 29th, (arrival day) till May 07th, 2014 in Pinsk, Brest region, Belarus.
