Draughts tournaments: 6th Open German Draughts 64 Championship and 10th International Saarbrücken Open Draughts 100 tournament  was held in Saarbrücken (Germany) from the 20th to the 22th November 2015. See results.

27-11-2015 At the 6th Open German Draughts 64 Championship which was held in Saarbrücken from 20 to 21 November 20 players from 4 countries participated. All tournament won Slump, Jitse from the Netherlands. Friesen Jacob became German Champion,  Alexander Bleicher took second place and only the third is international grandmaster Shapiro Gennady.

1. Date:

The following Draughts tournaments take place in Saarbrücken (Germany) from the 20th to the 22th November 2015:

a)   6th Open German Draughts 64 Championship (Brazilian Version).
b)  10th Saarbrücken–Open Draughts 100 Tournament.

2. Organizer:

Double room 28,00 € per person (overnight and breakfast)
4-bed-room 22,50 € per person (overnight and breakfast)
Single room with extra charge possible on request, also half- and fullboard.

Registrations for participants who need an entrance visa, should be submitted until the 30th  September 2015 including country, name and birthday of the player, also the number of the foreign passport (if a visa is necessary).

6. Approach:

By train:
Train station is Saarbrücken-HBF (main station), from there by bus line 124 to the station „Prinzenweiher“.

By car:
Autobahn A 6 Mannheim-Saarbrücken, exit St. Ingbert-West, passing the University, direction city, next to the Prinzenweiher.

7. Inscription fee:

Adults 15 Euro, juniors up to and incl. 18 years – 7 Euro. For the Open German Draughts 64 Championship – 5 Euro.

8. Play mode:

7 rounds by Swiss System under the rules of the FMJD, also at the Open German Draughts 64 Championship.

9. Time control:

35 min. + 5 seconds per move (Fischer System) per person until the end of the game. At the Open German Draughts 64 Championship 25 min. + 3 sec. per move.

09:30 – 10:30 h: 5th round;
10:30 – 11:30 h: 6th round
11:30 – 12:30 h: 7th round;

Sunday, 22th November 2015

08:30 – 10:00 h: 5th round;
10:00 – 11:30 h: 6th round;
11:30 – 13:00 h: 7th round;
13:30 h: Award ceremony, then departure of the participants.

11. Prize money and other prizes:

with 30 participants 200 € – 100 – 60 – 40 guaranteed. Best woman 30,00 €.
Winners of the Open German Draughts 64 Championship 50 €.
The best 3 players and the best woman, the best senior and the best junior in both tournaments received cups and certificates.
