From June 30 to July 4, 2016 in the city of Kolomna, Moscow Region is held International tournament in Russian draughts and draughts-100 on the prizes of the President of the Russian Draughts Federation. Competitions in Russian draughts are held from June 30 (day of arrival) to July 2; tournaments in draughts-100 – from June 2 (day of arrival) to July 4. Gavril Kolesov won Rapid in Russian draughts. Sergey Belosheev won Blitz.

IGM Sergey Belosheev (Russia, Republic of Crimea) Gavril Kolesov (Russia, Republic of Sakha) won Blitz ahead of the coefficient IGM Gavril Kolesov (Russia, Republic of Sakha) – both have 6.5 points. Third place with a score of 6 points took IGM Evgenii Kondrachenko (Belarus, Gomel). WIGM Mosalova Julia (Russia, Kaluga region) whith a score of 4 points showed the best result among women. WIGM Sofia Morozova (Russia, Kaluga region) took second place, WNM Julia Kuznetsova (Russia, Moscow region) took third place. They scored 3.5 points.

More than 80 players from 12 countries – Russia, Ukraine, Israel, Mongolia, Latvia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Belarus, Ghana, Turkey, Azerbaijan and the United States have announced their participation in the competition.

Tournaments in Russian draughts and draughts-100 will be held in two programs: a Blitz and Rapid. All programs will be held on the Swiss system, it will be open tournaments for men and women with a a separate determination of the winners.
The total prize fund is 400 000 rubles.
