December 4, 2017 during the World Cup Final in St. Petersburg, meeting of the IDF Board was held. A number of decisions on the World Cup 2018, tournament fees were adopted, new titles were awarded, other issues of current activities were considered.
Short report of the IDF Board meeting from 04.12.2017
Were present: President of IDF Vladimir Langin, vice-president Andrey Agapov, tournament director Alexander Nikiforov, general secretary Antonina Langina, treasurer Kyrill Khayniuk, representative of players Dmitry Tsinman, vice-president Yunus Aminjonov (by Skype).
Decisions were taken:
1. To approve the calendar for 2018. All competitions and calendar 2018 will be held in full (Calendar published HERE).
2.World Cup 2018.
The decision is made that the overall standings will be made taking into account the points scored at all stages, the winners will be determined with participation in at least 3 stages.
The prize fund in the overall standings of the World Cup will be increased to 4,000 euros.
3. It was decided to streamline and reduce the tournament fees:
– World championships (all age groups) – for 3 players from the country in each age group + champions of the previous World championship 2017, regardless of age group – 50 euros total per participant for participation in all 3 programs.
for other players from country – 75 euros total per participant for participation in all 3 programs.
– European Championships (all age groups) – for 3 people from the country in each age group + champions of the previous European Championship, regardless of age group – 50 euros total per participant for participation in all 3 programs.
for other players from country – 75 euros total per participant for participation in all 3 programs.
– World Cup – 50 euros total for participation in all programs.
At the next meeting, the issues of the on the reduction of tournament fees for the World Championship and European Championship will be considered.
4. It was decided to provide accommodation and meals at the expense of the organizers in the youth championships, for not four, but for six participants from each country – member of the IDF (one participant in the age groups up to 27, 20, 17, 14, 11, 9 years – a boy or a girl).

6. Approve new IDF members.
The application for the entry into the IDF of the Draughts Federation of Iran was considered and approved.
7. The issues of the technical commission.
The Technical Commission is instructed to edit the normative documents in accordance with the decisions taken, to prepare the regulations for the European Championship 2018 among men and women and the World Cup 2018.
