Blitz tournament dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the birth of the famous Uzbek master Sharifjon Yakubov, was held on May 9 in the capital of Uzbekistan, Tashkent. Strongest grandmasters and masters of Uzbekistan took part in competition. Ex-world champion, international grandmaster Markiel Fazylov specially came to the tournament from Israel, where he now lives. Winner of the tournament became an international grandmaster Samandar Kalanov. See the competition table.
