The International Draughts Federation (IDF) in accordance with the Calendar of the IDF competitions in 2023 held in Türkiye from October 20 to October 29, 2023 World Youth Draughts-64 Championship.
The Championship was held separately among boys and girls in age groups up to 9, 11, 14, 17, 20 and 27 years in three disciplines – Blitz, Rapid and Classic.

30-10-2023 The World Youth Draughts-64 Championship has been successfully completed. The World Championship was held at a high level in Turkey, at the Beach Club Doğanay 5* Hotel (Alanya) and was highly appreciated by athletes, coaches and heads of delegations.
The competition was held separately among boys and girls in age groups up to 9, 11, 14, 17, 20 and 27 years old in three disciplines – Blitz, Rapid and Classic game. Standings of the World Championship among students have been established in all disciplines in the age groups of Juniors – boys and girls up to 27 and up to 20 years old.
160 athletes from 13 countries took part in the Youth World Championship, and more than 260 athletes from 15 countries took part in all competitions in Turkey – the World Youth Championships, the World Veterans Championships and the World Cup Stage!
At the closing of the competition, the winners of all competitions were awarded official diplomas, new medals and awards specially made for these significant events.

21-10-2023 The World Youth Draughts-64 Championship started today in Turkey, at the Beach Club Doğanay 5*, Alanya. 160 athletes from 13 countries take part in the competition.
Blitz is held today. At 10.00 the opening ceremony took place and the Blitz program started in the age groups up to 27, 20, 17 and 14 years old.
The Blitz program for the under 11 and under 9 age groups will be held from 3pm. Follow the results.

Triple accommodation at the Beach Club Doğanay 5* hotel will be provided for families in rooms with two beds – one large bed and one single bed. The rest of the participants will be provided with double or single accommodation in accordance with the requests.

Competitions will be held separately among boys and girls in 6 age groups:
Juniors – boys and girls up to 27 years old (born in 1997-2003);
Juniors – boys and girls up to 20 years old (born in 2004-2006);
Cadets – boys and girls up to 17 years old (born in 2007-2009);
Mini-cadets – boys and girls up to 14 years old (born in 2010-2012);
Hopes – boys and girls up to 11 years old (born in 2013-2014);
Mini-hopes – boys and girls up to 9 years old (born in 2015 and younger)
Standings of the World Championship among students have been established in the age groups of Juniors – boys and girls up to 27 and up to 20 years old.
Competitions will be held in three disciplines – Blitz, Rapid and Classic game.
