The International Draughts Federation (IDF) together with the Uzbekistan Draughts Federation in accordance with the Calendar of the IDF competitions in 2024 held from May 11 to May 18, 2024 in the capital of Uzbekistan, Tashkent, World Cup in draughts-64 – International competition “Uzbekistan-2024”.
Competitions were held in three disciplines: Classic, Rapid and Blitz.

18-05-2024 World Cup in draughts-64 – international competitions “Uzbekistan-2024” has been successfully completed.
120 players from 10 countries took part in the competition. Among them are 10 of the strongest international grandmasters in the world and 2 national grandmasters. The current world champion Andrei Valyuk, the winner of the 2022-2023 World Cup Alexander Getmansky and other famous players, winners and prize-winners of world and European championships and World Cup stages competed for victory in the disciplines of the World Cup stage.
The competitions were held in three disciplines: Classic, Rapid and Blitz.
The youth players demonstrated a high level of play in all disciplines. Artem Tikhonov won Blitz and Classic game! For women, Tunaara Fedorova won in all three disciplines: Blitz, Rapid and Classic game!
In each discipline:
Participants who took 1st, 2nd and 3rd place among men and women were awarded cups, official medals and diplomas.
Additionally, winners and prize-winners were determined in the following categories: juniors (boys and girls) U23 and U20, boys and girls U17, U14 and U11.
Participants who won in youth categories were awarded cups.
Participants who took 1st, 2nd and 3rd places in youth categories were awarded medals and diplomas.
Based on the results of the competition, all players received points for the overall World Cup standings in accordance with the Regulations for the World Cup in Draughts-64 2024-2025. Points for places in each discipline were summed up.
17-05-2024 The last discipline of the World Cup – the Classic game completed.

13-02-2024 The International Draughts Federation (IDF) together with the Uzbekistan Draughts Federation in accordance with the Calendar of the IDF competitions in 2024 holds from May 11 to May 18, 2024 in the capital of Uzbekistan, Tashkent, World Cup in draughts-64 – International competition “Uzbekistan-2024”.
Venue: Orient Grand Hotel 3* at the address: st. Imama at-Termezi, 44, Tashkent (Uzbekistan).
Dates: from May 11 (arrival day) to May 18 (departure day), 2024.
The Credentials Committee will work on May 11 from 18.00 to 20.00.
Competitions will be held in three disciplines: Classic, Rapid and Blitz.
All disciplines will be held according to the Swiss system in 7-9 rounds by the system of micro-matches from two games with a draw of initial moves and positions according to the official IDF table valid as of 01.01.2024, obligatory in both games of micro-match.
In each discipline, winners and prize-winners among men and women will be determined.
Additionally, winners and prize-winners will be determined in the following categories (if there are at least 6 players in the age category):
juniors (boys and girls) under 23 years old (born in 2002-2004)
juniors (boys and girls) under 20 years old (born in 2005-2007)
boys and girls under 17 years old (born in 2008-2010)
boys and girls under 14 years old (born in 2011-2013)
boys and girls under 11 years old (born in 2014 and younger).
The prize fund of the competition will be at least 2,100 US dollars.
