The International Draughts Federation (IDF) in accordance with the Calendar of the IDF competitions in 2025 held in Türkiye from 11 to 20 April 2025 the European Draughts-64 Championship among men and women.
The European Championship was held separately for men and women in the disciplines: Blitz, Rapid and Classic game. The Blitz and Classic game disciplines were held according to the international/Russian version of draughts-64. The Rapid discipline was held according to the Brazilian version of draughts-64.

20-04-2025 The European Draughts-64 Championship among men and women has been successfully completed!
60 players from 17 European countries took part in all disciplines of this grand event! Among them were 18 of the strongest international grandmasters of Europe and the world and 15 international masters.
The following best players competed for the European Championship awards: 2023 European Champions Roman Shchukin and Viktoryia Nikalayeva, champions and prize winners of the World and European Championships of different years Ihar Mikhalchenka, Andrei Valiuk, Gavril Kolesov, Sergei Belosheev, Arno Uutma, Elena Scovitina, Zhanna Sarshaeva, Tunaara Fedorova, Sandaara Aprosimova, Anastasia Arkhangelskaia, the legendary USSR Champion Elshad Mursalov and many other strongest players of Europe and the world.
The European Draughts-64 Championship was held at a high level in the Ma Biche Kemer by Werde Hotels 5*, Kemer (Türkiye), where all the conditions for the game and rest were created for the participants.
The prize fund of the European Draughts-64 Championship was 25,000 euros. All participants received commemorative gifts.

The Opening ceremony of the European Championship took place at 14.30 and the preliminary stage of the Classic game discipline started at 15.00. The preliminary stage will include 8 rounds for men and 7 rounds for women. In the final stage, men and women will compete for prizes among participants who took 1st-8th place in the preliminary stages.
