01-10-2016 Russian Championship in draughts-64 among men and women ended. Strongest players of Russia and of the world took part in the competition. Among them are current world champions Sergey Belosheev and Sofia Morozova, winners and prize-winners of world and European championships in different years, international grandmasters Gavril Kolesov, Nikolay Struchkov, Yuri Korolev, Oleg Dashkov, Nikolay Gulyaev, Nikolay Abatsiev and Yulia Mosalova.
01-10-2016 Classic program ended. In men, a landslide victory with a score of 8.5 points out of 11 won multiple world champion Gavril Kolesov from Yakutia. In women, winning in the last round ex-champion of Russia Saiyyna Popova from Yakutia, the champion of Russia became the master of sports from the Bryansk region Anna Mortikova.
