International Draughts Federation (IDF) in accordance with the Calendar of the competitions in 2017 holds in Kranevo (Bulgaria) World Team’s Championship in draughts-64. Competitions were held in Sports Complex Aqualife (Kranevo, Bulgaria) from 23th August (day of arrival) to 2nd September (departure day) 2017.
Competitions were held separately among men’s and women’s teams in the three types of programs: classic, rapid and blitz.
Teams of Belarus won all programs in men and in women.

01-09-2017 World Team’s Championship 2017 in draughts-64 ended. 12 men’s and 12 women’s teams from 11 countries took part in the competitions.
The championship was a great success. Many of the world’s strongest players played for their teams. Belarusian teams became the strongest among men and women in all programs.

01-09-2017 Main program of competitions ended. Belarusian teams won in men and in women.
In men competition, second and third places took Russian teams of central federal district and northwestern federal district. In women the team Moldova took second place and the team of Uzbekistan took third place. See results.
29-08-2017 Rapid is held today. 10 men’s and 12 women’s teams take part in the competitions. See results.
As in the Blitz program, Belarusian teams won the Rapid program for men and for women.
In men competition, second and third places took Russian teams of St. Petersburg and the central federal district. In women the team Russia-4 (Sakha-Yakutia) took second place. Team of Moldova is the third.
28-08-2017 Blitz is held today. 12 men’s and 12 women’s teams from 11 countries went to the start of competition. See results.
In men competition, the team of Belarus convincingly won Blitz program. It consist of three strongest grandmasters of the world: Igor Mikhalchenko, Andrei Valiuk and Yevgeny Kondrachenko. On the second place is the team of the central federal district of Russia, on the third place is the team of Ukraine.
In women also won the team of Belarus, for which play international grandmaster Daria Fedorovich, international masters Khvaschinskaia Vera and Barysheva Anastasia. Only on second place is the team of Moldova, led by the world champion, international grandmaster Elena Skovitina. The third place was took the team of Uzbekistan, for which played prize-winners of the Asian championship 2017.
26-08-2017 11 men’s and 12 women’s teams from 10 countries take part in the main program.
After three rounds lead: in men competition – the team of Belarus; in women competition – teams from Moldova, Belarus, Uzbekistan and Russia (Sakha-Yakutia), which scored 5 points each.
24-08-2017 World Team’s Championship in draughts-64 started. Competitions are held with the support of the Foundation for Promotion of Draughts Sports “Russian Draughts”.
Opening ceremony for World Championships among youth, veterans and teams was held today at 12.00. Representatives of the local authorities, sport complex “Aqualife”, presidents of the Bulgarian Draughts Federation Bogdan Yanev and International Draughts Committee IDCD for disable Leszek Petlicki, president IDF Vladimir Langin welcomed participants of the competition.
Championship had a strong composition. Champions and winners of world and European championships in different years play for their teams. Among them are Andrei Valyuk, Igor Mikhalchenko, Eugenii Kondrachenko (all Belarus), Vladimir Skrabov, Vladimir Egorov, Mikhail Goryunov (Russia), Elena Skovitina (Moldova), Daria Fedorovich (Belarus) and other strongest players of the world.

Competition will be held in Sports Complex Aqualife (Kranevo, Bulgaria) from 23th August (day of arrival) to 2nd September (departure day) 2017.
Competitions are held separately among men’s and women’s teams. The composition of teams: men – 3 men + 3 reserve players, women – 2 women + 2 reserve players.
Competitions are held in the international version of draughts-64 by the system of micro-matches consist of two games in the three types of programs: classic, rapid and blitz.
All types of the program will be played with the draw of the moves according to the official table (745 positions) for the first and second men’s boards and with the first move of the white for the third man’s board. Women will play with the draw of the moves according to the official table (150 positions).
To participate in competitions are allowed one team from each country; from Russia – one team from federal districts, cities of Moscow and St. Petersburg.
