Championships of the Republic of Belarus in draughts-64 among men and women (the highest league) are held from 22 to 31 January 2018 in Minsk, at the Chess School FIDE (Minsk, Independence Ave. 49, 4th floor).
International Grandmaster Andrey Valiuk became the champion of the Republic of Belarus among men, International Master Vera Khvaschinskaya became a champion among women.

31-01-2018 The championships of the Republic of Belarus in draughts-64 among men and women (the highest league) ended. Before the last round, International Grandmasters Andrey Valiuk, Igor Mikhalchenko and International Master Sergei Sadovsky scored 17 points each. The fate of the first place was decided in the last round. Andrey Valiuk, having won the last round, became the champion of the Republic of Belarus among men, his rivals, after a draw, took the second and third place respectively.
International Master Vera Khvaschinskaya became the champion among women. International Master Anastasia Barysheva took second place, International Grandmaster Darya Fedarovich is only the third.
