The results of the 2019 World Cup are summed up. In accordance with the Regulations, the 2019 World Cup held separately summing up in three categories: classic game, Rapid and Blitz. In all three categories, the winner of the 2019 World Cup and the new international grandmaster was Dmitrii Melnikov (Russia).
More than 300 players from 26 countries of the world took part in all categories of the World Cup 2019 (Azerbaijan, Angola, Armenia, Belarus, Bulgaria, Cape Verde, Cyprus, Estonia, France, Greece, Georgia, Israel, Kazakhstan, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Moldova, Mozambique, Netherlands, Portugal, Russia, Sao Tome and Principe, Spain, Turkey, Ukraine, Uzbekistan).
Following the results of the 2019 World Cup, Dmitrii Melnikov (Russia) received the title of international grandmaster, Janis Farnests (Latvia) – the international master.
