The International Draughts Federation (IDF) according to the IDF Board’s decision from 23 June 2022 holds 24 August 2022 in Kranevo (Bulgaria) during the World Draughts-64 Championships the reporting and election General Assembly of International Draughts Federation (IDF).
Vladimir Langin was elected President of the IDF for another term.
New international titles approved by the General Assembly
24-08-2022 Today in the Aqualife Sports Complex in Kranevo (Bulgaria) the regular reporting and election General Assembly (General Meeting) of the International Draughts Federation (IDF) was held.
Representatives of 24 countries took part in the work of the General Assembly.
In connection with the 10th anniversary of the IDF, IDF President Vladimir Langin awarded diplomas to active federations, their leaders and members of the IDF Board for their great contribution to the development of draughts-64 in the world.
In accordance with the Agenda, the following were heard: the report of the President on the work of the Board during the reporting period and on the main achievements for 10 years of the federation’s work; the financial report and the report of the financial (audit) commission; a new leadership was elected; amendments to the Charter were approved; issues of the technical commission were discussed; new international titles awarded to players and arbiters during the reporting period were approved; an agreement with the FMJD on cooperation was ratified.

All federations are requested to prepare and send to the IDF office by e-mail [email protected]:
– proposals on the agenda, on elective candidates, on the IDF activities, the development of draughts-64 in the world, the calendar of competitions for 2023-2024 – no later than July 24, 2022.
– applications for holding competitions in 2023-2024 – no later than August 10, 2022.
