The International Draughts Federation (IDF) in accordance with the Calendar of the IDF competitions in 2025 held in Türkiye from April 20 (arrival day) to April 29 2025 World Cup – International competitions “Türkiye-2025”.
The competitions were held in three disciplines: Blitz, Blitz (Brazilian version of draughts-64), Rapid.

World Cup 2024 – 2025 standings after the 5th stage
29-04-2025 The World Cup in Draughts-64 in Turkey has been successfully completed. The competition was the 5th Stage of the World Cup 2024-2025.
The World Cup in Draughts-64 was held at a high level in the Ma Biche Kemer by Werde Hotels 5*, Kemer (Türkiye).
Competitions were held in three disciplines:
1) Blitz – international version of draughts-64
2) Rapid – international version of draughts-64
3) Blitz – Brazilian version of draughts-64
More than 60 players from 8 countries took part in all World Cup disciplines.
In each discipline, winners and prize-winners among men and women were determined.
In addition, winners and prize-winners were determined among juniors boys and junior girls under 20 years old (born in 2006 and younger).
Tsinman Dmitrii and Arkhangelskaia Anastasiia won the Blitz discipline!

Based on the results of the World Cup in Turkey, participants receive points for their places in each discipline, which are summed up and go to the overall standings of the 2024-2025 World Cup.

21-04-2025 Today, the World Cup – International competition “Turkey-2025” started at the Ma Biche Kemer by Werde Hotels 5* in Kemer (Turkey).
The competitions are held in three disciplines: Blitz, Blitz (Brazilian version of draughts-64), Rapid.
In all disciplines, open tournaments are held according to the Swiss system by the system of micro-matches from two games with the drawing of initial moves and positions according to the official IDF tables on 01.01.2024.
In each discipline, winners and prize-winners among men and women are determined.
In addition, winners and prize-winners are determined among juniors boys and junior girls under 20 years old (born in 2006 and younger).
Players who take part in the World Cup will receive points for the overall World Cup standings in accordance with the 2024-2025 World Cup Regulations. Points for places in each competition are summed up.
The prize fund for the competition will be at least 2,400 euros.
