Malawi 2nd National Draughts-64 Tournament will be held from 25  to 27 July 2014 in Blantyre, commercial city of Malawi. Competition will be held with the support of the Sports Council. First prize fund will be established. See more information HERE

Championships of Uzbekistan among men, women, boys and girls 23 year and younger was held from 25 to 31 May in Tashkent. Championships was held in two program: classic and blitz. 87 players participated. See results.

1st Dutch Championship in Brazilian Draughts was held in Tilburg on May 17, 2014. Championship recognised by the KNDB. Time schedule was 10 minutes plus 5 seconds bonus for each move, 10 rounds. 28 players participated. Anton van Berkel won. Jasper Daems took 2nd place and Genadij Shapiro took 3rd place. See more information HERE

International Draughts Federation IDF – FMJD Section-64 in accordance with the calendar of the competitions in 2014 holds Personal-team European Youth Championship in draughts-64 from April 29th, (arrival day) till May 07th, 2014 in Pinsk, Brest region, Belarus. Major League of Belarussian Men and Women Championships ended. Championships was held in Minsk from April 3th to April 11th. Competitions was held by the system of micro-matches from two games, time control: 45 minutes for each participant before the end of the game plus 15 seconds per move. Belarussian Youth Championship among boys and girls in age groups 10, 13, 16, 19 years was held in Borisov from March 24th to March 30th in two programs: Blitz and Classic. 126 players took part in competitions. You can see results of Blitz HERE, Classic program HERE and Photo HERE

Russian Youth Championship among boys and girls in age groups 8, 10, 13 years ended. Competitions was held in Yaroslavl region from March 24th to April 1st in three programs: Blitz, Rapid and Classic. 220 players took part in competitions. You can see information about competition and results HERE and HERE  See VIDEOS 

Women Championship of Moldova was held from 18 to 23 March in Chisinau. International Grandmaster, former world champion Elena Skovitina became champion. Cristina Zaruba took 2nd place and young Șleahovskaya Ana took 3rd place.  See results  HERE  and PHOTO
