The International Draughts Federation (IDF), in accordance with the IDF Competition Calendar for 2025 held World Youth Draughts-64 Championship in the age groups under 9, 11, 14, 17, 20 and 27 in Türkiye. In the age groups under 20 and 27, the World Student Championship was established. The World Youth Championship was held in the disciplines of Blitz, Rapid and Classic game.

09-11-2025 The World Youth Draughts-64 Championship has been successfully completed.
The Championship were held at a high level at the Calimera Serra Palace Hotel 5*, Türkiye, and received high praise from the athletes, coaches, and heads of delegations.
The competitions were held separately among boys and girls in age groups up to 9, 11, 14, 17, 20 and 27 years old in three disciplines – Blitz, Rapid and Classic game. Standings of the World Championship among students have been established in all disciplines in the age groups of Juniors – boys and girls up to 27 and up to 20 years old.
More then 170 athletes from 12 countries took part in the World Youth Championship, and more than 350 athletes from 17 countries took part in all competitions in Türkiye – World Youth Championship, World Veterans Championship, World Team Championship and World Cup stage!
At the closing of the competition, the winners of all competitions were awarded official diplomas, medals and awards.
08-11-2025 The classification of the World Championship among students was established in all disciplines for the age groups Juniors U27 and U20 (boys and girls).

29-10-2025 Today, the World Youth Draughts-64 Championship, the World Veterans Championship and the World Cup started in Türkiye. More than 300 athletes from 17 countries are taking part in all competitions.
The World Youth Championship is held in six age groups: U9, U11, U14, U17, U20, and U27, with separate competitions for boys and girls in the Blitz, Rapid and Classic game disciplines.
The opening ceremony took place at 10:00 AM.
At the opening, the participants were greeted by:
Vladimir Langin, President of the International Draughts Federation (IDF),
Aleksei Shonin, Vice President of the Russian Draughts Federation
Yunus Aminjonov, President of the Uzbekistan Draughts Federation and Vice President of the Asian Draughts Confederation
Representatives of the Turkish organizers
Participants who were awarded international titles were presented with award diplomas.
After the opening, the Blitz discipline started.

1) Educational and training event.
2) World Youth Draughts-64 Championship.

Dates:
– Educational and training event – from October 21 (arrival day) to October 28 (departure day), 2025.
– World Youth Draughts-64 – from October 28 (arrival day) to November 8 (departure day), 2025.
The Credentials Committee will work on October 28 from 16.00 to 22.00.
The competitions will be held separately among boys and girls in 6 age groups:
Juniors – boys and girls up to 27 years old (born in 1999-2005);
Juniors – boys and girls up to 20 years old (born in 2006-2008);
Cadets – boys and girls up to 17 years old (born in 2009-2011);
Mini-cadets – boys and girls up to 14 years old (born in 2012-2014);
Hopes – boys and girls up to 11 years old (born in 2015-2016);
Mini-hopes – boys and girls up to 9 years old (born in 2017 and younger).
Younger players can take part in age groups up to 27, 20, 17, 14, 11 years old.
The classification of the World Championship among students is established in the age groups of Juniors – boys and girls up to 27 and 20 years old.
Competitions will be held in three disciplines – Blitz, Rapid and Classic game.
The discipline Rapid will be played according to the Brazilian version of draughts-64.
