The International Draughts Federation (IDF) in accordance with the Calendar of the competitions in 2025 held World Draughts-64 Championship among veterans in Türkiye from October 28 to November 8. Competitions were held in the following age categories: Men 60 years and older (1965 year born and older); Men 50-59 years old (1975-1965 year born); Women 50 years and older (1975 year born and older). Competitions were held in the Blitz and Classic game disciplines.

09-11-2025 The World Veterans Draughts-64 Championship has been successfully completed.
The Championship were held at a high level at the Calimera Serra Palace Hotel 5*, Türkiye, and received high praise from the athletes, coaches, and heads of delegations.
Competitions were held in the following age categories:
Men 60 years and older (1965 year born and older);
Men 50-59 years old (1975-1965 year born);
Women 50 years and older (1975 year born and older)
Participants had to be the required age by the start date of the competition.
The competitions were held according to the international/Russian version of draughts-64 in two disciplines: Blitz and Classic game.
Twenty six athletes from 10 countries took part in the World Veterans Championship, and over 350 athletes from 17 countries participated in all competitions in Türkiye — the World Youth Championship, World Veterans Championship, World Team Championship, and World Cup stage!
At the closing ceremony of the World Veterans Championship, winners and prize winners of all disciplines and age categories were awarded official diplomas, medals, and awards. A prize fund was established for the winners and prize winners of the competition.

31-10-2025 The Classic game discipline has started today.
The open tournament will be held by the Swiss system in 8 round, by the system of micro-matches consisting of two games with the draw of moves and positions according to current IDF table (780 positions). Time control is 30 minutes + 15 seconds for each participant until the end of the game.

29-10-2025 The 2025 World Veterans Draughts-64 Championship started today at the Calimera Serra Palace Hotel 5* in Türkiye.
The competition is held in the following age categories: men 60 years and older (born in 1965 or later); men 50-59 (born in 1975-1965); women 50 years and older (born in 1975 or later) in the Blitz and Classic game disciplines.
The Opening ceremony took place at 10:00 AM.
At the Opening ceremony, the participants were greeted by:
Vladimir Langin, President of the International Draughts Federation (IDF),
Aleksei Shonin, Vice President of the Russian Draughts Federation
Yunus Aminjonov, President of the Uzbekistan Draughts Federation and Vice President of the Asian Draughts Confederation
Representatives of the Turkish organizers
Participants who were awarded international titles were presented with award diplomas.
After the opening, the Blitz discipline started.

19-06-2025 The International Draughts Federation (IDF) in accordance with the Calendar of the competitions in 2025 holds in Türkiye World Draughts-64 Championship among veterans.
Venue: 5* hotel, Manavgat region, Antalya (Türkiye). The name of the hotel will be announced additionally.
Dates: from October 28 (arrival day) to November 8 (departure day), 2025.
The Credentials Committee will work on October 28 from 16.00 to 22.00.
World Draughts-64 Championship among veterans is held in the following age categories:
Men 60 years and older (1965 year born and older);
Men 50-59 years old (1975-1965 year born);
Women 50 years and older (1975 year born and older)
Participants must be fulfilled the required number of years on the date of the start of the competition.
