A number of significant draughts events took place in Portugal in September-October 2020. The final of the Lithuanian Draughts-64 Championship among men (International/Russian version) was held in the capital of Lithuania Vilnius from March 11 to 15. In the final of the Lithuanian Championship 9 players took part, among them 5 of the strongest international grandmasters and 1 international master. International Grandmaster and former world champion Arunas Norvaishas became the champion of Lithuania 2020.

In the capital of Latvia, Riga, the National Draughts-64 Championships among men and women in Classic and Rapid game were held. All championships were held according to the international/Russian version of draughts-64. The finals of the Latvian championships among men and women were held from January 23 to 26. Championships of Belarus in draughts-64 among men and women (final) were held from January 24 till February 2, 2020 in the Republican Center of Olympic training for chess and draughts (Minsk, str. of Marks, 10). International Grandmasters Ihar Mikhalchenka and Yana Yakubovich became national champions among men and women.

The Lithuanian Team Draughts-64 Championship and Lithuanian Blitz Championship were held from November 22-24 in Bačkonys (Lithuania). The champion of Lithuania 2019 became the team ŠK “Vitražas” (Vilnius). International Grandmaster Andrei Valiuk (Belarus) became the winner of the Lithuanian Blitz Championship. International Grandmaster Arunas Norvaishas became the champion of Lithuania 2019 in Blitz.
