The International Draughts Federation (IDF) together with The Draughts Association of Ulaanbaatar in accordance with the Calendar of the IDF competitions in 2024 held in Mongolia World Cup in draughts-64 – International competitions ” Mongolia-2024″.
The competitions were held in the capital of Mongolia, Ulaanbaatar, from July 8 to 15 in three disciplines: Blitz, Rapid and Classic game.
Nikolai Gulyaev and Nika Leopoldova won the Blitz discipline!
Arsenii Tsynov and Anastasiia Arkhangelskaia won the Rapid discipline!

Standings in the 2024-2025 World Cup after the 3rd stage
15-07-2024 World Cup of Draughts-64 – International competition “Mongolia-2024”, held for the first time in Mongolia, has been successfully completed. The competition was held jointly with the Mongolian Draughts Federation and the Draughts Association of Ulaanbaatar.
The competition was held in three disciplines: Blitz, Rapid and Classic game.
The Blitz and Classic game disciplines were held according to the international version of draughts-64, the Rapid discipline was held according to the Brazilian version of draughts-64.
About 90 players took part in all disciplines.
In all disciplines:
-winners of the competition among men and women were awarded cups, official diplomas and medals.
-winners of the competition among boys and girls under 17 years old were awarded official diplomas and souvenirs.
The prize fund of the competition was 2100 euros.
The competition was held at a good organizational level. An excursion to the famous statue of Genghis Khan, which is located near Ulaanbaatar, and other events was organized for the participants of competition.
14-07-2024 The Classic game discipline of the World Cup of Draughts-64 in Mongolia is completed.
72 players took part in the competition.
4-time world champion, international grandmaster Nikolai Struchkov and IDF master Naryiaana Sergeeva won the Classic game discipline!

The competition are held according to the Swiss system in 9 rounds, by the system of micro-matches from two games with the draw of initial moves and positions according to the official IDF table valid as of 01.01.2024.

72 players took part in the competition.

The competition was held according to the Brazilian version of draughts-64, according to the Swiss system in 9 rounds, by the system of micro-matches from two games with the draw of initial moves and positions according to the official IDF table valid as of 01.01.2024. Time control 7’ + 3” to each participant until the end of the game.
70 players took part in the competition.

09-07-2024 The World Cup in draughts-64 – International competition “Mongolia -2024” started today in Ulaanbaatar (Mongolia).
The opening ceremony took place at 09.30. The participants were greeted by IDF President Langin Vladimir and the President of the Mongolian Draughts Federation Tserenbyamba Erdembileg.
The IDF President wished the organizers a successful holding of the first international draughts-64 tournament in Mongolia, congratulated the participants and wished them victory, presented diplomas and badges for the awarded international titles:
International Grandmaster – Sarshaev Mazhit
International Master – Tsynov Arsenii
Women’s International Master – Bolshakova Albina, Ivanus Victoria and Fedorova Tunaara.
IDF Master – representative of China Ruan, Weiyi
An instrumental concert of morinkhoor was performed for the participants and guests of the competition.

The International Draughts Federation (IDF) holds draughts-64 competitions in Mongolia for the first time.
Venue: Mongolian National University of Education at the address: Baga Toiruu-14, Khoroo 8, Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia 14191.
Dates: from 8th July (arrival day) to 15th July (departure day), 2024.
The Credentials Committee will work on 8th July from 18.00 to 20.00.
Competitions are held in three disciplines: Blitz, Rapid and Classic game.
Blitz and Classic game are played according to the international version of draughts-64.
Rapid is played according to the Brazilian version of draughts-64.
In all disciplines, open tournaments are held according to the Swiss system in 7-9 rounds by the system of micro-matches from two games with a draw of initial moves and positions according to the official IDF table valid as of 01.01.2024.
In each discipline, winners and prize-winners among men and women are determined.
Additionally, winners and prize-winners are determined among boys and girls up to 17 years (born in 2008 and younger).
The prize fund of the competition will be at least 2,000 Euro.
