The International Draughts Federation (IDF) in accordance with the Calendar of the IDF competitions in 2024 holds in Türkiye Training events and International competitions “Türkiye-2024” – World Cup in draughts-64.
Competitions will be held in three disciplines: Blitz, Rapid and Blitz (Brazilian version of draughts-64).
Venue: Hotel Ma Biche Kemer by Werde Hotels 5*, Kemer (Türkiye).

26-04-2024 World Cup in draughts-64 in Turkey is completed. 56 players from 6 countries took part in the competition.
Competitions were held in three disciplines:
1) Blitz – international version of draughts-64
2) Rapid – international version of draughts-64
3) Blitz – Brazilian version of draughts-64
For men, the winner in the disciplines of Blitz (Brazilian version of draughts-64) and Rapid was international grandmaster Oleg Dashkov!
Young international master Ivan Ilyasov won Blitz (international version of draughts-64)!
For women, the winners in various disciplines were:
Kristina Vatolina – Blitz (international version of draughts-64)
Anastasia Arkhangelskaia – Blitz (Brazilian version of draughts-64)
Sandaara Aprosimova – Rapid
Based on the results of the World Cup in Turkey, participants receive points for their places in each discipline, which are summed up and go to the overall standings of the 2024-2025 World Cup.

The competition is the first stage of the 2024-2025 World Cup.

Dates:
– Training events: from April 16 (arrival day) to April 19 (departure day) 2024
– International competitions “Türkiye-2024” – World Cup in draughts-64: from April 19 (arrival day) to April 26, 2024
The credentials committee will work on April 19 from 16.00 to 22.00.
Competition will be held in three disciplines:
1) Blitz (International version of draughts-64)
2) Rapid (International version of draughts-64)
3) Blitz (Brazilian version of draughts-64)
In all disciplines, open tournaments are held according to the Swiss system in 7-9 rounds by the system of micro-matches from two games with a draw of initial moves and positions according to the official IDF tables valid as of 01.01.2024, obligatory in both games of micro-match.
