02-11-2024 Today, the World Youth Draughts-64 Championship, the World Veterans Championship and the World Cup started in Turkey. More than 270 athletes from 17 countries are taking part in all competitions.
The opening took place at 10:00. The participants and guests of the competition were greeted by:

30-06-2024 The International Draughts Federation (IDF) in accordance with the Calendar of the IDF competitions in 2024 holds a number of draughts-64 events in Türkiye:
1) Educational and training event. 2) World Cup in draughts-64 – International competitions “Türkiye-2024”.
Venue: The Beach Club Doğanay Hotel 5* Address: Konaklı Mah. Mustafa Kemal Blv. No:289 Alanya/Antalya (Türkiye).
Dates:
1) Educational and training event – from October 28 (arrival day) to November, 2024. 2) World Cup in draughts-64 – International competitions “Türkiye-2024” – from November 1 (arrival day) to November 9 (departure day), 2024. The credentials committee will work on November 1 from 16.00 to 22.00
Competitions will be held in three disciplines: Blitz, Rapid and Blitz (Brazilian version of draughts-64). In all disciplines, open tournaments are held according to the Swiss system in 7-9 rounds by the system of micro-matches from two games with a draw of initial moves and positions according to the official IDF tables.
All participants regardless of gender, age and rating are allowed to participate in the competitions, who have submitted an application for participation in a timely manner, registered on time and paid the tournament fee. The number of participants representing a country is not limited.
