The International Draughts Federation (IDF), in accordance with the Calendar of the competitions in 2025 held the Draughts-64 competitions as part of the 2025 World Cup in Draughts-64 in St. Petersburg (Russia).
The following competitions are held:
1) World Cup Final (Classic game) – from December 7 (arrival day) to December 12 (departure day), 2025.
2) World Cup Stage (Rapid and Blitz) – from December 11 (arrival day) to December 14 (departure day), 2025.
World champions, International Grandmasters Roman Shchukin and Sandaara Aprosimova won the 2025 World Cup Final in Draughts-64!

14-12-2025 The 2024-2025 World Cup in Draughts-64 has completed in St. Petersburg, Russia.
The World Cup Final (Classic game) and the World Cup Stage (Rapid and Blitz game) were held from December 7 to 14.
52 athletes, who qualified for the six Stages of the 2024-2025 World Cup, participated in the World Cup Final. 87 athletes competed in the Rapid discipline and 117 in the Blitz discipline of World Cup Stage.
Representatives from 11 countries took part in all competitions at the World Cup held in St. Petersburg.
The competition was held at a high level.
The total prize fund for the World Cup Final and World Cup Stage was 1,000,000 rubles.

This competition concludes the 2024-2025 World Cup in Draughts-64.
The total prize fund for the competition will be 1,000,000 rubles.
Athletes from 8 countries: 29 men and 23 women participate in the World Cup Final, having qualified through six stages of the 2024-2025 World Cup.
Among them are the most decorated athletes – champions and prize winners of world championships of various years, international grandmasters:
Andrei Valiuk, Georgii Taranin, Aleksei Kunitsa, Roman Shchukin, Oleg Dashkov and Dmitrii Tsinman (men);
Viktoryia Nikalayeva, Polina Petruseva, Maria Taranina, Sandaara Aprosimova, Anastasia Arkhangelskaia and Nika Leopoldova (women);
Asian champions: Laziz Muraliev and Nigina Bozorova from Uzbekistan, Ruan Weiyu and Liu Pei from China.
The competition is held separately for men and women.
