The International Draughts Federation (IDF), in accordance with the IDF Competition Calendar for 2025 holds a training event (October 21-28) and the World Youth Draughts-64 Championship in the age groups under 9, 11, 14, 17, 20 and 27 (October 28 – November 8) in Türkiye. In the age groups under 20 and 27, the World Student Championship have been established. The World Youth Championship will be held in the disciplines of Blitz, Rapid and Classic game.

19-06-2025 The International Draughts Federation (IDF) in accordance with the IDF Competition Calendar for 2025 holds a number of draughts-64 events in Türkiye:
1) Educational and training event.
2) World Youth Draughts-64 Championship.
Venue: 5* hotel, Manavgat region, Antalya (Türkiye). The name of the hotel will be announced additionally.
Dates:
– Educational and training event – from October 21 (arrival day) to October 28 (departure day), 2025.
– World Youth Draughts-64 – from October 28 (arrival day) to November 8 (departure day), 2025.
The Credentials Committee will work on October 28 from 16.00 to 22.00.
The competitions will be held separately among boys and girls in 6 age groups:
Juniors – boys and girls up to 27 years old (born in 1999-2005);
Juniors – boys and girls up to 20 years old (born in 2006-2008);
Cadets – boys and girls up to 17 years old (born in 2009-2011);
Mini-cadets – boys and girls up to 14 years old (born in 2012-2014);
Hopes – boys and girls up to 11 years old (born in 2015-2016);
Mini-hopes – boys and girls up to 9 years old (born in 2017 and younger).
Younger players can take part in age groups up to 27, 20, 17, 14, 11 years old.
The classification of the World Championship among students is established in the age groups of Juniors – boys and girls up to 27 and 20 years old.
Competitions will be held in three disciplines – Blitz, Rapid and Classic game.
The discipline Rapid will be played according to the Brazilian version of draughts-64.
