The International Draughts Federation (IDF) in accordance with the Calendar of the competitions in 2026 holds World Cup in draughts-64 – International competitions “Vietnam-2026” from October 8 (arrival day) to October 15 (departure day), 2026 in Mui Ne, Vietnam.
The Draughts-64 competition will be held in Vietnam for the first time!
The World Cup will be held in three disciplines: Blitz, Rapid and Classic game.

The Credentials Committee will work on October 8 from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM
The World Cup will be held in three disciplines: Blitz, Rapid and Classic game.
The Blitz and Classic game disciplines are held according to the international/Russian version of draughts-64, the Rapid discipline is held according to the Brazilian version of draughts-64.
In all disciplines, open tournaments are held according to the Swiss system in 7-9 rounds by the system of micro-matches from two games with a draw of initial moves and positions according to the official IDF tables, obligatory in both games of micro-match.
In each discipline winners are determined among men, women and juniors (boys and girls) up to 20 years (born in 2007 and younger) if there are at least 5 people in the age group.
Participants of the World Cup get points in the overall standing of the World Cup in accordance with the Regulations of the 2026 World Cup in draughts-64.

Applications are accepted at the IDF office by e-mail: office@idf64.org:
– Applications for participation and accommodation booking – no later than July 10, 2026.
– Transfer requests must be submitted no later than September 28, 2026.
Late applications will not be considered.
Reservations (until July 10) and payment for accommodation (July 28) must be made only through the organizer – the International Draughts Federation.
Participants who have not booked and paid for accommodation with the organizers will not be admitted to the competition.

Accommodation rates for players, coaches, and accompanying persons from October 8 to 15, 2026 (for a total of 7 nights) are:
from US$336 per person, standard room, double occupancy;
from US$587 per person, Serene Oasic bungalow, double occupancy.
The number of rooms is limited. Late reservations after July 10 and late payment after July 28 will result in no rooms being provided to the competition participants.
