The International Draughts Federation (IDF) in accordance with the Calendar of the competitions in 2026 holds World Draughts-64 Championship among veterans from 1st November to 11th November 2026 in Türkiye. Competitions will be held in the following age categories: Men 60 years and older (1966 year born and older); Men 50-59 years old (1976-1966 year born); Women 50 years and older (1976 year born and older). Competitions will be held in the disciplines Blitz and Classic game.

12-05-2026 The International Draughts Federation (IDF) in accordance with the Calendar of the competitions in 2026 holds World Draughts-64 Championship among veterans in Türkiye.
Venue: 5* Hotel, Manavgat region, Antalya (Türkiye). The name of the hotel will be announced additionally.
Dates: from 1st November (arrival day) to 11th November (departure day) 2026
The Credentials Committee will work on 1st November from 16.00 to 22.00
World Draughts-64 Championship among veterans is held in the following age categories:
Men 60 years and older (1966 year born and older);
Men 50-59 years old (1976-1966 year born);
Women 50 years and older (1976 year born and older)
Participants must be fulfilled the required number of years on the date of the start of the competition.
Competitions are held in the disciplines Blitz and Classic game.

– visa support applications and preliminary applications for participation and accommodation booking – no later than July 31, 2026.
– final applications for participation and accommodation booking – no later than August 21, 2026.
Late applications will not be considered.
