Personal-team World Youth Championship in draughts-64 among boys and girls was held from 22nd August to 1st September 2019 in Sports Complex Aqualife, Kranevo, Bulgaria. Personal Championship was held in six age groups in three types of program: classic, blitz and rapid. Team standings in the overall team classification and classification among teams of boys and girls were determinated. 25-08-2019 For the first time, the World Youth Team Championship is held for national boys’ teams and girls’ teams. 10 boys’ teams and 9 girls’ teams went to the start of competitions. Both competitions are held in a Robin round system.
The composition of the team is 3 players, 1 player in each age group:
cadets born in 2003 and younger, junior cadets born in 2006 and younger, hopes born in 2009 and younger.
Competitions are held according to the system of micro-matches from two games with 3 ’+ 2” control for each participant until the end of the game. Team places are determined by the highest total points scored by all team members.

The opening ceremony was attended by a president of International Draughts Federation Vladimir Langin, a representative of Bulgarian Draughts Federation Dimitr Yanev, a sport director of sports complex “Aqualife” Igor Korotkov, Vice President of the International Draughts Federation, Vice President of the Asian Draughts Confederation, President of the Draughts Federation of Uzbekistan Yunus Aminjonov.
Players from 17 countries took part in competitions: Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Bulgaria, Georgia, Israel, Kazakhstan, Latvia, Lithuania, Macedonia, Moldova, Russia, Romania, Uzbekistan, Ukraine, France and Estonia.

Personal Championship will be held separately for boys and girls in three types of program: classic, blitz and rapid; and in six age groups:
Juniors 26 years and younger (1993-1999);
Juniors 19 years and younger (2000-2002);
Cadets 16 years and younger (2003-2005);
Junior cadets 13 years and younger (2006-2008);
Hopes 10 years and younger (2009-2010);
Junior hopes 8 years and younger (2011 and later).
Team standings in the overall team classification and among teams of boys and girls will be summed up.
The results in the offset of the World Championship among students will be summed up.

During the World Youth Championship seminar for arbiters will be held. Rules of the game and competitions (revised 2018), as well as a rules for the assignment of international titles (revised 2018) will be studied at the seminar.
