Russian Youth Championships among boys and girls in age groups U16, U19 and U26 was held in Leningrad region, in the hotel “Petro Sport Hotel” from 3rd (arrival day) to 12th March in three programs: Blitz, Rapid and Classic. Near 150 players from 23 regions of Russia took part in competitions.

Israeli championship in Russian draughts among women was held 4th March at the city of Petah Tikva. Champion Israel became USSR master of sports and IDF master, multiple participant of the World and European championships Zinaida Alexandrova. Master of sports Valery Volynkina took second place. Ex-champion of the USSR, the master of sports Sorkin Elena is in third place.

In February 2017 in the capital of Uzbekistan Tashkent was held championships of Uzbekistan in draughts-64 among men, women and youth.

Championship of Lithuania in draughts-64 among women was held in Kaunas 24 and 25 February. 20 women took part in the competitions, which were held on the Swiss system in 7 rounds. International Master Milda Jocaite won all games and confidently won the title of Women Champion of Lithuania 2017.

Interschool tournament in draught-64 (Brazilian draughts) was held 25 February in Hinche. Venue: Youth Center Competition was held separately among boys and girls under 16. 12 boys and 8 girls from Hinche and Mirebalais took part in competition.

Technical Director of the Uganda Draughts Federation Dan Isabirye sent the results and reports of recent tournaments in draughts-64, held in Uganda in the end of 2016 and in 2017. Uganda Draughts Federation holds tournaments in various kinds of draughts-64, such as a Pool Checkers, Brazilian draughts, Russian draughts.

Championship of Moldova among women was held from 10 to 18 February in Chisinau. Competitions were held in three programs: classic, rapid and blitz. RESULTS

Final of Lithuanian Championship in draughts-64 among men was held in Vilnius from 11 to 16 February 2017. 10 players participated in the competition, among them 3 International Grandmasters and 4 International Masters. Champion of Lithuania became world champion 2015 in Rapid, an international grandmaster Arunas Norvaishas.

General Secretary of Association of Draughts of Malawi (ADMA) Suzgo Alpha Nkhoma sent information on organization and holding of the Malawi National Draughts-64 Championship in 2016-2017.
